Countries we’ve covered on the blog:

Submit Your Story!

Are you a woman who has lived abroad, traveled somewhere amazing, or gone on an exciting adventure? Do you want to share your tips, stories, and information to help inform others? We’d love to hear it! You have a few options –

  1. Write an article about a place you’ve been like this. Be sure to include as many details as possible, and lots of pictures! Do you have general advice about traveling or outdoor adventure? Write it up in an article too!
  2. Write a travel itinerary like this, detailing what you did day by day so that someone can recreate your trip. Don’t forget pictures!
  3. Write a top 10 list – your favorite places, restaurants, etc. in a city you’ve visited, or the city where you live.
  4. To be interviewed, like this, e-mail me with information about the trip you’d like to write about.

Send any of these options – or something else! – to beentheretravelblog@gmail.com.

We are looking forward to hearing about your experience!

About the writer and editor, Evy Bround:

I’m not a vagabond or a nomad. For now, I generally hold down a 9 to 5 job and finds ways to travel when possible. I’d like to think it’s always possible for everybody, whether you want to quit your job and journey indefinitely, or whether it’s about saving up and taking a short trip here and there. I’ve worked travel in to my life through study abroad, short trips with friends or family, and living in different places. When I decided I needed a break from the daily grind in New York, I found a teaching job in Seoul, South Korea, and spent a year tackling the challenge of that job while traveling when possible. At the end of the year, I took a two month long trip through Southeast Asia with the money I’d saved. I did all of my research on blogs, and the experience inspired me to create my own.

I have lived in Madison,WI; Minneapolis, MN; Toledo, Spain; New York, NY, Seoul, S. Korea, and Los Angeles, CA. I have traveled in the US, Canada, Central America, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
